BEECHIN, RAYMOND - The death of Raymond Murray Beechin, age 79, husband of Ruth (McNair) Beechin of Riverbank, NB, occurred at the Sussex Health Centre, NB, on Wednesday, July 6, 2011. He was born on June 23, 1932, the son of the late Millard and Florence (Ferris) Beechin. Ray is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ruth; son Chris and Tammy Beechin of Riverbank, NB; daughter Colleen and Bill Fudge of Saint John, NB; grandsons Ryan and Ben; sister Roberta; brothers Arthur and Shirley, Ken, Gerald and Maureen; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Robert.
He is resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting on Sunday from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Celebration of Ray’s life, conducted by Pastor Fred Wickett, will be held on Monday, July 11, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. from Outreach Pentecostal Church, Hatfield Point, NB. Interment will follow in Riverbank Cemetery. Donations in memory of Ray, may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the memorial of the donor’s choice.
