We the family of the late Marie McCormick Mahoney who passed away July 18, 2009 after a courageous battle with breast cancer, wish to express our heartfelt thanks and gratitude for all the love and support during Marie\'s illness and after passing. Thank you for all the mass cards, sympathy cards, flowers and donations made to palliative care and the many organizations. They were very much appreciated. Thank you to the doctors and staff of the Cape Breton Cancer Centre, staff of Palliative Care and VON services for all their dedication and kindness. Their compassion and professionalism was much appreciated. Thank you to Fr. Leo Boone, the choir, musicians and alter servers for a wonderful service. your music made the service heartfelt. The special Honor Guard by the Registered Nurses Association represented a wonderful personal touch. Thanks to the CWL for a beautiful lunch following the service. A heartfelt thank you to the pallbearers Brenda Gouthro, Carol Buchannan, Charlane Chiasson, Kerri Small, Maryann MacAdam, Norma Miller. The readers Carol Buchannan, Jason Mahoney and Ray MacAdam who delivered the readings and intentions. Thank you to JM Curry and staff for your compassion, kindness and professionalism. To anyone we have forgotten, know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
