The death occurred at the Halifax Infirmary, Halifax, N.S., on Tuesday, July 5, 2011, of Harold MacNevin of St. Eleanors, aged 72 years. Born in St. Eleanors, he was the son of the late Ira and Mary Jane (Jeffery) MacNevin. Survived by his wife Shirley (Ferrish) MacNevin; sons Ensor and Sheldon (Robert); daughter Marilyn; grandchildren Curtis (Mallory) and Katilyn (Jamie); sister Margaret Perry (Mike Charbonneau); brothers and sisters-in-law Frona Brown; Erma MacDougall; Donnie (Adrianne) Ferrish; Deane (Edna) Ferrish; Helen Ferrish-Hogg; Carol (Joe) Praught; and Brenda Ferrish. Predeceased by brothers-in-law Alfred Perry and Wilf Brown; twin sisters in infancy; and mother and father-in-law William and Mary (Broome) Ferrish. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, then to St. John’s Anglican Church Cemetery, St. Eleanors, for a graveside service Monday at 10:30 a.m. No visiting hours by personal request.
