At Western Hospital, Alberton, on Thursday, July 7, of Marne Lawrence Howard, Glengarry, aged 63 years.
Born on February 21, 1948, he was the son of the late Bennett and Inez (Butler) Howard. Dear brother of Audrey McKenna (late Cyril), Charlottetown; Lorne (late June), Burton; Shirley O’Brien, Charlottetown; Beverley Howard, Glengarry; Stella Gillis (late Gerry), Keppoch; Wayne, Charlottetown; Elaine Bulger, Glengarry and Dale (Bonnie MacNeill), Glengarry. Also survived by aunts Rita McCarthy, Braintree, Mass., and Mary Butler, Glengarry, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; sisters-in-law, Nadine Howard, Burton, and Lynne Eager, Windsor, Ont.; brothers-in-law, Jimmie Dalton, Charlottetown, and Ralph Bulger, Dunblane. Predeceased by brothers, Desmond and Leigh, and niece, Kelly Gillis, and nephew, David Bulger.
Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary, with visiting hours Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday until 10:30 a.m., then to St. Mark’s Roman Catholic Church, Burton Lot 7, for funeral mass at 11 a.m. Interment will follow the service in the St. Mark’s Parish Cemetery, Burton Lot 7.
