William 'Ken' Brown

We regret to announce the passing of Ken at the QEII in Halifax, on July 6, 2011, surrounded by his loving family.
Ken spent his career as a truck driver and spent the last seven years working in Fort McMurray, Alta. He was also an avid sportsman. In his younger years, he loved to hunt, fish, play hockey and baseball. His favourite pastime was spending time with his children, grandchildren and many friends.
Ken is survived by his wife, Patsy; his four sons, Ken (Lisa), Moncton, N.B., James (Colleen), Sydney Mines, Graham (Michelle), Spencerville, Ont., and Anthony (Courtney), Ottawa, Ont. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren, whom he loved dearly, James, Justin, Mariska, Tyler, Emma, Ella and two step grandchildren, Miranda and Rachel.
He was predeceased by his parents, William and Grace Brown and his brother, George ‘Chick’.
No visitation by request. A memorial service will be held at St. Matthew Wesley United Church, North Sydney, on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at 2 p.m.
