Faye Shultz passed away on September 15, 2009 in Moose Jaw, after a brief illness. Her parents emigrated from Iowa, USA in 1906, as homesteaders. Faye was born on their farm near Darmody. Faye was proud of her time as “Rosie the Riveterâ€, building airplanes during WWII. She lived in the USA from 1930 until 1990. After the death of her husband John Shultz, she moved to Moose Jaw to be near her family and her roots. She was predeceased by her beloved husband John, her twin sister Maye Stark, sister Opal Zanders (Anita, Iowa), and her brothers Ivan, Merion and William. She will be sadly missed by her nephews, and their families in Sask., B.C. and Ontario, and by extended family in Iowa. The Funeral Service will be held at W.J.Jones & Son Chapel on Saturday September 19, 2009 at 3:30 pm. Pastor Marvin Seaborg will officiate. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery.
