AITKEN, Roy Stephen – Passed peacefully away on Wednesday, November 19th, 2008 at the Health Sciences Centre. Roy Aitken, long-time employee of CNR, age 86 years. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 60 years, Laura (Crocker); his sons: Paul (Janet) and David (Yvonne); daughters: Janet and Heather; his six grandchildren: Steven (Crystal) Aitken, Jill Aitken, Kelly (Sheldon) Pitts, Jeff (Nancy) Aitken, Chris (Jennifer) Hickey and Lisa Hickey; two precious great-grandchildren: Andrew and Chloe Pitts; sister-in-law Winnie Crocker and special niece Sr. Mary Patricia Carr, also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A special thank you to the nurses and staff of St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, the L.A. Miller Centre and the Health Sciences Centre for their care and compassion. Resting at Caul’s Funeral home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass on Saturday, November 22nd. at 1:30 p.m. from Mary Queen of Peace Church, Torbay Road. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
