It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mike Doucette announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Sunday,July 10th 2011 at the age of 86 years. Leaving to mourn are his 3 sons;Jerry(Norma) in Felix Cove, Brian(Veronica) in Port au Port, and Randy(Rose) in Saskatchewan.2 daughters; Stella(Eddie) Felix and Lisa(Wayne) Penney both in Felix Cove.1 sister Genevieve Formanger in Kippens, 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Also leaving to mourn is his very special friend Louis Marche and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was Predeceased by his wife Muriel, sons Don and Billy, and his granddaughter Jody. Friends may call at Russell's Funeral Home 57 Prince Rupert Drive in Stephenville, Monday July 11th, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will take place Tuesday July 12th, 2011 at 2 PM. from Maria Regina Parish Church , Port au Port East, with Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Berryhead , Port au Port East.
