(September 29, 1925 - July 10, 2011) Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital after a short illness, Frank Pike, age 85. Longtime employee of the CN Dockyard. Predeceased by daughter Arlene Ford (Lloyd), and sister Helen Hamlyn (Bob). Leaving to mourn with fond and precious memories, his loving wife of 62 years Clara (nee Collins); sons: Rick (Kathy), Derek (Elizabeth), and Robert (Cathy); daughters: Judy, and Cynthia (Carl); eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Also leaving to mourn, brothers: Richard (Betty), Stewart, and Robert (Olivia); sisters: Ruth Butler (Gerry), and Lorna Clouter; as well as many other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave., on Monday, July 11, from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m., and on Tuesday, July 12, from 2-4 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 from Gower Street United Church at 2 p.m. Interment to take place at a later date.
