BOURGEOIS, ELEONORE - 1916-2011 - Eleonore Bourgeois, 95, of Residence Benaise Saint-Antoine and formerly of Saint-Paul passed away at the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital on Tuesday, July 12, 2011. Born in Memramcook on April 8, 1916 she was the daughter of the late Maxime and the late Marguerite (Boudreau) Leblanc. Eleonore will be remembered as an elementary school teacher in West Kent. She will be sadly missed by her four daughters, Sr Roberte Léger SMCR Zaire Africa, Denise Melanson (Désiré) of Saint-Paul, Jacqueline Nowlan (Eric) and Patricia Léger (Clarence) both of Sainte-Marie,two sons, Jean (Annie) of Sainte-Marie, Paul (Anne Alice) of Richiboucto, three step-daughters, Linda Belliveau (Camille) of Shediac, Rose-Marie Allain (Valmond) of Moncton, Gisèle Bourgeois (Gérald) of Bouctouche,, five stepsons, Jean-Paul (Carmel) of College Bridge, Gilles (Lita), Roger (Raymonde) both of Saint-Paul, Guy (Ginette) of Sainte-Marie, Michel of Moncton, one brother Léo-Paul Leblanc of College Bridge, thirty two grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Eleonore was predeceased by her first husband Jude Legér (1972), her second husband Bertrand Bourgeois (1991), three sons, Raymond, Emerie, Charles, one step-daughter Jeannine Bourgeois-Girouard, five sisters, Wilma, Marie, Dorilla, Evangeline, Lauriane and three brothers, Adrien, Yvon, Hector.
Visitations will be held at the Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Slumber Room Sainte-Marie on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 from 7 to 9 and on Thursday from 2 to 3:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Roman Catholic Church Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Sainte-Marie on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 4:00pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In Eleonore`s memory donations can be made to the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital Foundation, to the Alzheimer Society or to the Missionary Sisters of Christ King.
