Philip Pike
June 30, 1922 – July 9, 2011

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Philip Pike announces his passing at the age of 89, on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at the Dr. Charles L. Legrow Center. Born in Port aux Basques, Philip was the son of late William and Elizabeth Pike. He was also predeceased by his wife Ida Pike, daughter Elsie Pike, 21 sisters and brothers. He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories his family: son Milton (Kathleen) Pike Saint John NB, daughters Shelia (Larry) Boyles Saint John NB, Queen (Frank) Roberge Stephenville Crossing, Katie Tucker (Joe) Gallants, special grandson Philip Boyles with whom he resided, 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and many friends. To honor his wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation took place on Monday July 11, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at East Haven Funeral Home in Port aux Basques. Funeral services took place at East Haven Funeral Home, on Tuesday July 12, 2011 at 2 PM, officiated by Captain Paul Brake. Interment followed at Salvation Army Cemetery, TCH.
