(1950-2008) - Passed suddenly away at his residence on Monday, February 18, 2008, John (Jed) Maher, retired teacher, age 57 years. Predeceased by his parents, William and Jessie Maher; Aunts: Eileen, Mamie and Margaret Locke, Bessie Legge, Marie Lombardi, Mary Fleet and Uncle Pat Maher. Leaving to mourn his sad loss, special friend Margaret Rose Kavanagh; two sons: Andrew (Anna) and Jonathan; daughter Jessica and their mother Mary; granddaughter Aria and grandsons: Dillon and Ethan Maher; sister Eileen (Thomas) Hickey; nephews: Michael (Sarah), Martin (Corinne) and Gerard (Colleen) Hickey; grandniece Enya and grandnephews: Gavin and Owen Hickey; Bobbi Kavanagh and the Kavanagh family; and many friends, colleagues and former students. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Thursday from 2 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral service on Saturday, February 23rd at 10:00 a.m. from Caul's Chapel.
