Peacefully at the Prince County Hospital Summerside, on Wednesday July 13, 2011 of Mary "Mina" Darling Dunn of Elmsdale, P.E.I., age 87 years. Beloved wife of the late Merrill Dunn who predeceased her in 1996. Born at Inverness P.E.I on Dec. 11, 1922 she was the daughter of the late John and Eliza Ann(Nee Broome) Phillips. Loving mother to Marie (Frank) Luttrell of Roseville; Charles (Olive) of Elmsdale; Wayne (Linda) of Elmsdale. Cherished grandmother to Kelly (Paul), Korey (Cindy), Wendy (Andy). Great grandmother to Zachery Phillips, Cody, Connor and Colton Dunn. She is servived by her son in law Harry MacDonald, Sisters in law, Doris Dunn, Rita Dunn and Lorraine Dunn, brother in law Ken Peers,and by her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Merrll, her daughters Elizabeth in infancy and Beverley MacDonald in 2008. She was also predeceased by sybling, Annie Banks, Clara Coles, Lena Malone, Velma Peers, Albert Phillips and Leslie Phillips and by brothers and sister in laws, Frank (Late Marjorie) Dunn, Raymond Dunn, Harry Dunn, James Dunn. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home Alberton. Visiting hours Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral on Friday July 15, from the Sacred Heart Church Alberton for funeral mass at 11 a.m. Rev. Eric Dunn celebrant. Interment in the church cemetery. As an expression of sympathy memorials to he Heart and Stroke Foundation, The Canadian Cancer Society or to the Church cemetery fund would be gratefully appreciated. The Sacred Heart council of the C.W.L will hold prayers for their departed member Thursday afternoon at 3:45 p.m.
