Passed away peacefully at the Bonne Bay Hospital Centre on Tuesday, July 12th, 2011 at the age of 70 year Gerald Lloyd Hancock. Gerald is survived by his common-in-law wife Joyce (Gilley). His children Geoffrey (Darlene), Mark (Judy) and Treena. Five grandchildren Nicholas, Sarah, Amy , Franchesca, and Paige. One brother Christopher (Margaret), sister-in-law Myrtle , also his extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents James and Bertha, brother Gordon, sister Jessie and brother-in-law Leonard. Gerald taught in Norris Point for 26 years touching the lives of his co-workers and his students. He loved to travel and he loved to drive. Visitation will take place from the Anglican Church in Norris Point today, Thursday from 7-9 pm and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm where also funeral service will take place on Saturday at 2:00 pm. with Canon Olsson officiating.
