It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Hewitt announce her passing on Tuesday, July 12th, 2011 at the Westerm Memorial Hospital in her 85th year. She will be sadly missed by her children, James (Golda), Iain (Judy), Margaret (Boyce) Ford, Hugh (Geraldine), Alastair (Pauline), Colin (Sheila and Rosemary, seventeen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren. Her brothers John (Denise) of Edinburgh, Donald of Inverness and sister-in-law and best friend Audrey Hewitt. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur, daughter Veronica, parents John and Margaret, sister Elizabeth and sister-in-law Wenyss. Visitation will take place from the Anglican Church in Jacksons Arm today, Thursday, where also the funeral service will take place on Friday at 2:00 pm. with Canon Meade officiating.
