It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, sister and aunt Eileen May Boutilier, age 84, a resident of Mapleview Drive, North Sydney, on Friday, Sept. 18, 2009, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Lockerville, Kings County, she was a daughter of the late Archie and Clara May (Croft) Schofield. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church.
Eileen is survived by her children, Keith (Gloria), and Linda (Gerald) Campbell, both of Brasd’Or; Glen (Carol), Peter (Corrine), both of North Sydney, Clayton (Paula), of Millville. Also surviving is daughter-in-law, Gloria Boutilier; her brothers, Keith, Carlton, Kempton all Lockerville; sisters, Corrine, Carol and Myril, all of Lockerville, NS, and June,of Windsor, NS; and by her 18 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Eileen was predeceased by her husband, Roy; two sons, David and Robert and by her daughter-in-law, Lorraine (Gracie) Boutilier and brother, Clarence.
Visitation for Eileen will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, in the W.J. Dooley Fuenral Home, 107 Pleasant St., North Sydney. Funeral mass will take place Monday, 2 p.m. from Immaculate Conception Church, Sydney Mines, with Rev. J.J. MacDonald officiating. Burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Sydney.
