MacFARLANE, FRANCES OLIVIA - Frances O. MacFarlane of Fredericton, NB and formerly of Nackawic, NB, passed away July 14, 2011 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born in 1927 at South Devon, NB, she was an only child of the late Charles and Mae (Close) Titus. Frances was a member of the Nackawic Baptist Church. She will be remembered for her quiet strength and warm smile and will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She is survived by three daughters, Dawn Bovingdon (Tod), Richmond Hill, ON, Rhonda Forster (Carl), Lincoln, NB and Mary Doucet (Richard), Fredericton; a foster daughter, Gail Nolte, Florida; eight grandchildren, Meaghan Rismay (David), Chrystal MacLeod, Craig MacLeod (Luna), Kim Bovingdon, Melinda Forster, Matthew Forster (Vanessa), Kristen Doucet and Caleb Doucet; two great grandchildren; special cousin, Ruth Titus; several other cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Frances was predeceased by her husband, Gordon MacFarlane in 1993.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 18, 2011 at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ralph Irving officiating. Interment in Nackawic Cemetery.
