Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, July 13, 2011, Eleanor Jean Fillier, age 70 years. Predeceased by her husband Robert, August 2003. Leaving to mourn one daughter Eleanor (Terry); six sons and their families; 12 grandchildren; 8 great- grandchildren; three sisters: Audrey (husband Gary), St. John’s, Elizabeth Ann Purcell, Alberta and Doreen (husband Richard), Nova Scotia; three very special friends: Dr. Percy Crocker (Bessie), Sister Jean Noble and Dr. Isabel Martins at the Miller Center; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Eleanor was a faithful listener to the Old Old Story from Elim Pentecostal Church, VOAR and VOWR. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue from 7-9pm on Thursday, then on Friday from 10am-9pm, and on Saturday from 10am-12noon. Funeral service to be held from Bethesda Pentecostal Church, MacDonald Drive on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Blackmarsh Road.
