ELLIOTT, Mary M. (Field)– November 12, 1925. Passed peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, November 20, 2008. Predeceased by her husband John, parents Jack and Mercedes Field, grandson Scott Elliott, sisters Alice Knight and Madge Yeo, brothers Ralph, Hubert and Hal. Left with fond and loving memories are her seven children: John (Shirley), Cathy Purcell (John), Don (Pats) in Ottawa, Barb Lucas (Dave), Rose Marie, Eric (Pat) and Joe (Barb); sixteen grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters: Rose Clift and Joan Field; brother Ron Field (Laura); in-laws: Charlie Knight, Doris Field, Bob Elliott (Marge), Roy Elliott (Lil) and Eleanor Ball (Jim); family friend Jeff Young and a large circle of friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Friday from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Topsail Road.
