CAMPBELL, DONALD L. - Donald “Don” L. Campbell, 72, of Canaan Station, and formerly of Bass River, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, July 16, 2011. Born in Bass River, he was the son of the late Daniel and Emma (Ward) Campbell. Don was a retired woodsman and farmer and was a member of St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church, Bass River. Don will be sadly missed by his wife of 19 years, Carrie Campbell; sons, David (Karen), Clairville, Herbert “Herb”, Moncton; precious grandchildren, Damian and Tanaya; former wife and mother of his children, Loretta Campbell; several nieces and nephews. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Robert, David, George, Edward; sisters, Cynthia, Irma and Winnifred.
Visitation at St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church, Bass River, Monday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service at St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church, Tuesday, July 19, 2011, 11:00 am with Rev. Sandy Sutherland and Rev. Cecil Symes officiating. Reception in the Church Hall following the service. Interment in the Church Cemetery.
