Winsor, Ruby M. Passed away on July 12, 2011 at the Leonard A. Miller Centre, St. John’s after a short battle with cancer, Ruby Winsor of Wesleyville age 76 years. Predeceased by her husband; Harold, sisters; Frances McGowan and Genevieve Prise and brother; Benjamin Ford. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are; daughter; Shirley (Henry Andrews) of Mount Pearl, sons; Sam (Isabelle) of Carmanville, Alex (Imelda) of St. John’s, Glen (Angela) of Glovertown, 9 grandchildren; Jennifer, Heather (Michael Vickers) & Stephen Andrews, Jeffrey (Cayla), David (Allison) Winsor, Mark, Sarah, Janine and Alex Winsor, 3 great-grandchildren; Ewan & Stella Vickers and Jack Winsor, sisters-in-law; Marie Winsor, Audrey (Bruce Gibbons), many nieces, nephews and cousins as well as a large circle of neighbours and friends especially her United Church Women family. Special thanks to the Staff of the Miller Centre Palliative Care Unit for their care and compassion during her last few days. Funeral service took place on Friday, July 15 at 2 P.M. from the Jubilee United Church, Wesleyville with Rev. Brian Hannon officiating. Interment followed at the Jubilee United Church Cemetery, Wesleyville. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Jubilee United Church Wesleyville or to the Dr. H.
