COFFILL, Malcolm “Mac” Eugene — 76, of Lower Burlington, Hants County, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2011, at the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born on February 15, 1935, in Hantsport, he was the son of the late Arthur and Daisy (Allen) Coffill. He was a mechanic for many years in both Nova Scotia and Ontario. He was a loving husband and father, with a great sense of humour, and everyone who knew him loved him. He is survived by his wife and companion, Lois Jean Ryder (Sweet); children, Frances Coffill Gastonia, NC, USA, Carol Coffill, New Glasgow, Brian Coffill, Beaverbank, Wendy Powell, Sutton, Ont., Richard Coffill, Newmarket, Ont., Lorraine Zaborowski, Chris Ryder, Mississauga, Ont., Kimberley Whelan, Peterborough, Ont., Cherie Coffill, David Coffill, James Ryder, Douglas Ryder, Toronto, Ont., Michael Sweet, Kamloops, BC, Linda Sweet, Lower Burlington, and Angela Sweet, Calgary, AB; 25 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; brother, Gerald Coffill, Pefferlaw, Ont. He was predeceased by a son, Wayne; sisters, Goldie, Frances, and Joann; brothers, Victor and Clinton. Cremation has taken place under the care of Lindsay`s Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, Windsor. At his request, there will be no visitation or service.
