Of Victoria, who passed away peacefully at the Carbonear General, Hospital on Sunday, July 17, 2011. Mrs. Sutton was 87 years old. She leaves to mourn her loving family: children Elsie (Paul) Noonan, Patsy (Jim) Gosse, Irene (Douglas) Stevenson, Jeanette Sutton, Yvonne (Jerry) Burden, Mary Sutton, Michelle (Gary) Noseworthy, Wade (Maureen) Sutton, Brend (Mary Anne) Sutton & Christopher (Sherry) Sutton; daughter-in-law Kay Sutton; son-in-law George Penney; sister Annie Rose; 25 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Predeceased by husband Harold Sutton, children Brenda Penney and Harold Sutton, parents Moses and Charlotte Parsons; and a large number of relatives and their families. The Funeral Service will take place at Victoria United Church and Cemetery, Victoria, on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at 2 P.M. The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home at Powell Drive, Carbonear between the hours of Monday 2 - 5 p.m. & 7 - 9 p.m., Tuesday 10:30 a.m. - 12 noon, 2 - 5 p.m. & 7 - 9 p.m. and Wednesday: 9:30 a.m. - 12 noon.
