It is with great sadness that the family of the late Felix John Brennan announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Wednesday, July 19, 2011 at the age of 81 years. He was formerly of Little Paradise, Placentia Bay, NL.
He will be sadly missed by his loving and devoted wife Helen of 56 years and 10 children: Derm (Denise Neal) of Fort McMurray, Debbie (Brendan McIsaac) of Fort McMurray, Shirley (Glen Campbell) of Fort McMurray, Linda (Vaden Compton) of Fort McMurray, Dody (Tony Perry) of Fort McMurray, Patsy (Carey Sloan) of Calgary, Elizabeth (Chris LaVallee) of Stephenville, Millie (Lance Chinn) of Fort McMurray, Bill (Kim Gaudon) of Port au Port, Ricky of Fort McMurray, seven siblings: Mary Anne (Eldon Matousek) of Nebraska, Mercedes Burke of St. John's, Bernice (Allan) Hardy of London, Ontario, Sister Dolorosa Brennan of St. John's, Sister Mildred Brennan of Peru, Raymond (Sue) of Midland, Ontario, Betty (Charlie Synard) of Kilbride, 23 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and many brothers and sisters-in-law, numerous relatives and many cherished friends. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Elizabeth and brothers Arthur and Joe. Visitation took place at Russell's Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Friday, July 22nd from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service took place on Saturday, July 23rd at 10 a.m. at St. Stephen's Parish, West Street, Stephenville with Interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
