FOLEY, WILLIAM JOHN - Passed away on July 22, 2011 at the Oromocto Hospital, William John Foley was born February 12, 1930 at Moosehead, Maine. Predeceased by his father John Foley and mother Pearl (Cook) Foley. At the age of three, William with his family moved to Charlotte County N.B. and eventually to Fredericton where William attended Fredericton High. William served with the U.S Army in North Korea, was posted in Japan and various military locations throughout the U.S. Subsequent to his military career, William spent many years as a Merchant Seaman visiting all parts of the globe from the Canadian Arctic, North and South America, Europe and Asia. For the past thirty years William has resided at Sunnyside Beach, N.B. Survived by his sister Marjorie Foley and companion Patricia Glenn.
