LAURIE - William Donald " Bill" 45 years of Springhill passed away Sunday, September 20, 2009 in the VG Health Sciences Centre, (Infirmary Site), Halifax. Born in Springhill, he was the son of Donald & Judy (Jackson) Laurie, Springhill.
In addition to his parents he is survived by sons, Sean Laurie, Springhill & Justin Laurie, Saint John, NB; daughters, Nicki (Carl) Oderkirk & Sara Laurie both of Springhill; step-daughter, Kirsten Gogan, Springhill; grandchildren, Ryan & Kalie Oderkirk; maternal grandmother, June (Jackson) Henwood; several aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews.
Cremation has taken place under the care of A.H. Brown Funeral Home, Springhill, from where a memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 23, 2009 with Pastor Scott Balser officiating. Burial in Hillside Cemetery ,Springhill .
