Muriel "Elaine" Glover, 93 years, passed away on July 9, 2011 at her residence. Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of Robert and Laura (Hall) Davis.
Elaine worked in Administration and Personnel in Ottawa as secretary to the Chief, Office Services. After returning to Springhill, she worked at the Experimental Farm at Nappan as a secretary. She was an adherent of St. Andrews-Wesley Church.
Elaine is survived by a niece, Karen; nephew, Robert Bartlett; cousins, Donald and Dr. Ralston Ryan and Norma Mills.
She was predeceased by her husband Cpl. John Glover in 1971; sister Helen Bartlett as well as her parents.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 14, at A. H. Brown Funeral Home, Springhill, at 2:00 pm , followed by the funeral at 2:30 pm, Reverend Wayne McCArther officiating.
