We, the family of the late John F. O’Keefe would like to express our appreciation to all who were so comforting during our time of loss. To all family and friends who travelled from away to be with us, a very special thank you. To those who visited, sent Mass cards, food, floral arrangements, memorial tributes your thoughtfulness meant a lot to us. We would like to thank the Royal Canadian Legion for the honor guard at the church and the honorary pallbearers Gaps Shaw, Carl Turner, Charles Churney, Wally Moffatt and John Joe O’Neil. To the pallbearers Terry Moffatt, Klem Moffatt, Bill McGean, Jim Bates, Randy Bursey and Edgar MacLeod a sincere thank you. To Father Norman MacPhee and the ministry of St. Anthony’s Church, thank you. To readers Michael O’Keefe, Stephen and Joan Churney, thank you. To Dr. Rebello and the nurses and staff of 3rd floor west at Glace Bay General Hospital, thank you for your care and support. Special thanks to Dr. Kent Cadegan for his many years of care he gave to John F. and for always being there when he needed you. To the staff of Ferguson’s Pharmacy, especially Donald and David Ferguson, thank you for your many years of advice and for being so kind. We would like to thank Kenny and the staff of V.J.
