QUAID, MARION ELIZABETH - The death of Marion Elizabeth Quaid, age 80, of Cambridge-Narrows, NB, occurred at the Oromocto Public Hospital, Friday, July 22, 2011. She was born on April 13, 1931, in Kincaid, SK, the daughter of the late Wilfred and Margaret (Wilks) Quaid. Marion is survived by her son, Kevin and Nadia DeSilva, of Cambridge-Narrows; brothers, John and Evelyn Quaid, of Sarnia, ON and Kenneth and Jessie Quaid, of Sarnia, ON; sisters, Helen Dickson, of Goderich, ON, Anne Anderson, of Ripley, ON and Mildred Montgomery and Bob Clarke, of Listowel, ON; and by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister, Mabel Westlake.
Visitation will take place at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday, July 27, 2011. Interment will take place later in Ontario. Donations in memory of Marion may be made to a Living Memorial or to the memorial of the donor’s choice.
