FREEMAN, ROBERT (BOB) - 1946-2011 - Robert (Bob) Freeman, of Riverview, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, July 23 at the Saint John Regional Hospital at the age of 64. Born in Sackville, NB, he was the son of the late Willis and Flora Freeman. Bob retired from the provincial government in 2001 as a property assessor; he spent the last 10 years with Greco becoming Riverview’s favourite delivery person. Bob will forever be in the hearts of his wife, Pam (MacFarlane); daughter, Lysa Freeman, of Riverview; sons, Jason, who is currently residing in Halifax and Nick, of Riverview; and his cherished grandson, Colby Freeman for who those Saturdays playing with his Grampy will never be forgotten; he will also be remembered by his sisters, Faye Newhook (Bert), of Port Hawksbury and Betty Meredith (Bill), of Mahone Bay; a brother, Jim (Sylvia), of Halifax; as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will be receiving friends and visitors at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007), on Monday from 7 to 9 pm; the funeral service will be held from Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, July 26 at 1:30 pm, with Pastor Kurt Parks officiating, with the interment to be in Alderwood Cemetery.
