Passed peacefully away on July 20, 2011 at the Health Sciences Centre after a brief illness, Maxwell (Ronald) Hollahan, of Southern Bay, Bonavista Bay aged 84 years. Predeceased by his wife Elsie. Leaving to mourn his children: Roger (Diane), Gerald (Boyna) and Rick; four grandchildren: Vikki (James Headley), Leah (David Squires), Michael (Joy) and Jazmine (Jonathan); two step grandchildren: Laura (Joe), Denise (Steve); four great-grandchildren: Kira, Brooke, Evan and Damon, two sisters: Olive James and Lorraine Easey; one brother Loyal; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cremation took place and a memorial service officiated by Rev. Glen Jarvis took place from the Eventide Memorial Chapel, Charleston, interment followed at the United Church cemetery, Southern Bay, on Saturday, July 23, 2011. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Vardy’s Funeral Home, Random Island.
