Woodworth, Elsie Mae – 64, Truro, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 22, 2011 in Colchester Regional Hospital, after a lengthy illness, with her family by her side. Born on June 15, 1947 in Truro, she was the daughter of the late Almon and Blanche (Beatty) Gilby. Elsie is survived by husband, Wayne, daughter, Heather (Mike) Rogers of Riverview, N.B.; grandchildren, Marla-Ann, Christie and Bradley; sister, Sharon (Lloyd) Crowell, Truro; brother, Gary Gilby (Yvonne Hennigar), Masstown; sister-in-laws, Katherine (Terry) Weatherbee and Joanne Langille (Steven Faulkner); brother-in-law, Lawrence Sutton; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Judy Sutton. There will be no visitation or funeral service at Elsie’s request. A private family graveside service will be held. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
