RAYMA OLIVE CRAIG (TYSDAL)
Rayma, was born to Oscar and Hazel Tysdal on December 8, 1922. She passed away on July 23, 2011 after a year long battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her parents; two brothers and a sister. She is survived by her much loved spouse Charles Craig; a sister Janet Roper and several nephews and nieces. Rayma was born at the family farm near Baildon and attended school there. She obtained Grade 11 from Central Collegiate and then worked at the CPR, Swift’s and finally Eatons. Some of her favourite memories were winning provincial fastball championships with the Johnstone Dairy Maids. She joined a large and loving family in 1966 when she married Charles “Bud” Craig. She farmed with him at Mossbank until moving to her home in Moose Jaw. The Craigs recently celebrated Bud’s 90th Birthday which Rayma was able to attend and enjoy at Pioneer Lodge where she received excellent care. A Funeral Service will be held at Minto United Church on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 1:30pm. Rev. John Carley will officiate. Interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 61B Ross St. W., Moose Jaw S6H 2M2 would be appreciated.
