It is with great sadness that the family of James Fletcher announce his passing at the family residence in Lark Harbour on July 25, 2011 at the age of 83 years. Loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle. He leaves to mourn son James Mark Fletcher (Kathy) and daughter Ruth (Scott) and special friend Nina Druggett. Sisters, two in England, Norah Dawson (Bill) and Margaret Drury. He is also survived by his five grandchildren: Michael, Jacqueline (Corey), Jennifer (Andrzej), Jessica and Robert Fletcher; five great-grandchildren: Samantha, Gregory, Kaitlyn, Adriana, and Alycia. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. He is predeceased by his wife Norma in 1986, parents: James and Agnes Fletcher, sisters: May Sheppard (George) and Rosemary Fletcher. Visitation will take place at St. James Anglican Church Lark Harbour on Wednesday July 27, 2011 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. and Thursday July 28, 2011 from 10-12 noon with the funeral to take place at 2 p.m. Thursday July 28, 2011 with Rev Nellie Thomas officiating. Interment to take place at the Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Church Fund in Lark Harbour.
