A life filled with spirit, joy and brilliant humour has gently passed from our presence on September 23, 2009 in St. John’s. Elizabeth Thistle Guy, predeceased by her husband Augustine MacDonald Guy, MD, is remembered as our beloved mother, teacher, artist, poet and writer by her children Judith MacDonald Guy Mulder and her son John Mulder, Robert MacDonald Guy, Elizabeth Suzanne Alcolado, RN (Raphael) and her children: Gillian, Nicole, Adam, David Guy, MD and his sons: Christopher and Stephen and Donald Guy, MD (Cathey, MD). She is also survived by her brothers: Edgar and William Thistle. A very special thank you to the wonderful physicians and nurses who have taken care of her over the years and more recently to her very kind caregivers at St. Lukes Home.
