Ivan Welcher

Ivan Welcher of Valleyfield passed away on Sunday July 17th, 2011 in Slave Lake, Alberta at the age of 50 years. Ivan Dean Welcher was born to Elizabeth and Peter Welcher on May 21st, 1961, he was the youngest of nine children. Ivan is predeceased by his loving mother & father and sister bonnie. He leaves to mourn his wife Wanda, daughter Sheena, two granddaughters; Brianna and Jasmine, four brothers; Stanley predeceased by his wife Betty, Herb (Rita), Ralph (Loretta), Hayward (Carmel), three sisters; Violet (Joe), Mildred predeceased by her husband Richard, and Joan. Ivan will be greatly missed by a large number of nieces and nephews and many friends. Visitation was held at Sincerely Yours Funeral Home in New-Wes-Valley on Friday July 22, 2:00 to 5:00, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., and Saturday, July 23, 1:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Rev. Brian Hannon officiated the Funeral service at the Memorial United Church Sunday, July 24 at 2:00 p.m. Followed by internment at the United Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jennifer Pender of Sincerely Yours Funeral Home.
