FLETCHER, JOHN - John Fletcher, 62, of Forest Glen, passed away at the Moncton City Hospital on July 27, 2011. Born in Petitcodiac, he was the son of the late Harold and Marjorie (nee Wilson) Fletcher. He was retired from Fawcett Lumber Mills after 36 years of service, and was the president at the Petitcodiac Legion Branch #41.He is survived by his brothers: Arthur Fletcher (Louise) of Pollett River, and Cecil Fletcher (Diane) of Quispamsis; his sister, Marguerite Campbell (Douglas) of Sackville; several nieces and nephews; and many special friends. John was predeceased by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, from 7 to 9pm; a legion tribute will be taking place at 6:45pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 29 at 3:00pm in Armstrong’s Funeral Home, 33 Russell Street, Petitcodiac (506-756-3361). Interment will be held in the Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations to the Palliative Care Unit at the Moncton City Hospital or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
