Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Friday, September 25, 2009, Elizabeth Whelan, age 78 years. Predeceased by her husband of 50 years, John Whelan. She leaves to mourn three daughters: Marilyn Walsh (Jim) of Springhill, NS, Rosemary Rose (Lloyd) (and family pet Rusty), Margaret Whelan (Bill); three sons: John ‘Bink’, David (Cynt) and Michael (Renee) (and family pet Sadie); eight grandchildren; two sisters: Anita Osbourne, Vancouver, BC and Helen Fuller, Calgary, Alberta; three brothers: Leo (Cecilia), Richard (Doris) and Billy (Jackie) Osbourne, also a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Saturday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Monday, September 28th at 9:30 a.m. from St. Patrick’s Church. Internet to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
