Passed peacefully away at Chancellor Park from a lung disease on Tuesday, July 26, 2011, Josephine Elizabeth Arsenault, age 86 years. Predeceased by husband Benjamin (Benny), infant son Kenny, son Fred, grandson Todd Howell, mother and father Kenneth and Blanche Carter, sister Patricia, brothers Kenneth and Charles. Leaving to mourn daughter Patsy (Ern); sons Chuck (Elaine), Paul (Lynn); daughter-in-law Pam; grandchildren Joanne (Phillip), Tanya (Rick), Frederick (Amanda), Jason, Chuck Jr. (Chantal), Shane, Jillian, Justine; great-grandchildren Chelsea, Taylor, Michael, Joey, Luke, Adison, Nicholas, Aylissa; sisters Laura, Grace, Barbara (Bob); brothers Sandy (Betty), Fred, Herb (Brenda), Gordon (Olive), Ben (Sandra); sisters-in-law Sadie and Joan; aunt Pearl; family friend Ray Sparkes; also a number of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Special thank you to daughter-in-law Elaine for her care and kindness in mom’s time of need. Also thank you to the staff at Chancellor Park for their excellent care of mom in her short stay. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held from The Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Craigmillar Avenue on Friday, July 29, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
