April 13th, 1941 - July 26th, 2011. Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, July 26th, 2011, Mr. Roy Barrett of Tilton, Conception Bay, age 70 years. Predeceased by his parents, William and Jessie, and daughter Sandra Stone. Leaving to mourn are his loving wife Stella of 26 years; two sons: Scott (Wanda) London, Ont., Michael Lane of Edmonton, Alta.; two daughters: Sharon (Tony Gannon) Edmonton, Alta., Beverly (Brian Slaunwhite) Dartmouth, N.S.; three step-children: Michael King, St. John's, Rosemary King, St. John's, Jonathan King, Manuels; one brother James Barrett (Mae), Spaniard's Bay, and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral service Friday, July 29th, at 2 p.m. from Holy Redeemer Anglican Church, Spaniard's Bay. Interment to follow at Green Head Anglican Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday and Thursday July 27th, and 28th, from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m., Friday, July 29th, 10 a.m. - 12 noon. No flowers by request.
