Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital in the presence of his family on Monday, July 25, 2011, age 85 years. Predeceased by his wife Jean on December 19, 2010. Left with fond and loving memories are his children: Elaine (with whom he resided), Bill (Sharon), Elton (Theresa), Cherry (Gerald), Roy (Bev), Audrey (Roger), David (Diane), Susan (Mike), and Judy (Darrell); grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister Elma (Charlie); sisters-in-law: Cora and Daphne; nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation 10 a.m. - 12 noon on Thursday in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews from where the memorial service will take place at 2 p.m. Inurnment in St. Peter's Anglican Cemetery, Upper Gullies.
