LAWRENCE, Freda May – A brilliant ray of light filled every room Freda Mae Lawrence entered and a great warmth can be felt by all those who came in contact with here, She will be greatly missed. Freda Lawrence passed away Saturday 23 July 2011 at Tidal View Manor Seniors Residence. Born in Yarmouth County (1913- 2011) Freda was the wife of the late Mr. William (Bill) Lawrence, Mother of the late Mr. William (Bubby) Lawrence. She is Survived By her children Georgia Nicholas, Colin Lawrence, Louise (Pinky) Harding -Toronto, Calvin Lawrence-Ottawa, ON. Alice (Doll) Brewer-Yarmouth, Rose Smith-Halifax. NS., Ten Grand Children - Steve, Penny, Karen Brewer, Billy & Hilton Smith NS., Tina Emovon, Kim Maksymuik, Coleen Lawrence, Nigeba and Oba Harding- ON., Eight Great Grand Children, Son Paul Middleton ;Nieces & Nephews. Sister - Violet Brown and a loving Niece Joan Robinson and her family. In Lieu of Flowers, donations in Freda’s name can be made to The Yarmouth North Baptist Church. Funeral arrangements by Sweeny’s Funeral Services of Yarmouth, viewing Time: Wednesday 27 July 2011; 6.00pm to 9.00 pm. Funeral Services were held at Sweeny's Funeral Home Chapel 11 a.m Thursday 28 July 2011. Interment followed at Yarmouth Mountain Cemetery. We the Family Invite all to a reception at the Legion.

MOM PASSED AWAY Saturday 23 July, 2011 ( 1913 to 2011)Because of the care given by these wonderful Care Givers her Last days were made Pleasant and Comfortable by the Doctors and all THE STAFF and for this we will Forever be GRATEFUL. Freda and her late husband Bill Lawrence was a family of 7 Generations Rooted in A PROUD YARMOUTH, NOVA SCOTIA, CANADIAN HERITAGE. She leave behind Four Daughters, Georgia Nicholas / Toronto ON, Alice (Doll) Brewer / Yarmouth NS, Rose Smith / Halifax NS, Louise (Pinky) Harding / Toronto ON, and Two Sons Colin Lawrence / Toronto ON, Calvin Lawrence / Ottawa ON, and One Deceased Son William (Bubby) Lawrence, Plus 10 Adult Grand-Children and Six Great Grand Children, Her Niece Joan Robinson and her family, Her Son Paul Middleton and Her Sister Violet Brown. Her Blessed long life has touched many in the Community and she would be Greatly Missed By us all.
