PARKER, Raymond Lincoln - 75 of Bridgetown, formally of Lequille. Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Granville Ferry he was the son of the late Almon and Annie (Brothers) Parker. Raymond loved to play guitar and to sing. He will be remembered fondly by playing with Rhythm 4 as well as other groups, he was a great lover of Charlie Pride, he enjoyed wood working, playing Bingo and wrote a play “Beyond the Dark Horizon” which was later made into a book. He was a community leader for the Lequille Community Hall. He is survived by his wife Edna (Burrell) Parker, sons; Maurice (Connie Lowe), Annapolis Royal and Raymond Parker-Gallant (Marcel Parker-Gallant), Dieppe N.B., step grandson Tyler, one sister, Helen Wesley, Annapolis Royal, uncle to many nieces and nephews. Raymond is predeceased by 17 brothers and sisters. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home. A service of remembrance was held Tuesday, July 26 at 11 am from Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal officiated by Pastor Herb Anderson. Interment in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
