The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 of Jennifer Wood (nee Stokes) of Summerside and formerly of Leicester, England in her 69th year. Devoted wife and predeceased by her husband Bernie. Loving mother of Kim (Michael) Johnston and Lee. Proud grandmother of Christopher and Matthew. Remembered by Diana, Sally (Sven), June (Stewart), Brian (Betty), Carol (Pete) and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A special thank you to Heather and Jack Darrach and to Dr. Hoare and the nursing staff of the Palliative Care Unit for their compassion and exceptional care. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jennifer to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by family.
