LIVELY, THEDA ROSALIE - The passing of Theda Rosalie Lively of Fredericton, widow of the late Raymond O. Lively, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at the age of 89. Born March 19, 1922 at Seal Cove, Grand Manan, she was the daughter of the late Sirdar Kitchener Ingalls and Florence Maude (Foster) Ingalls. Theda was a faithful and active member of the Olivet Wesleyan Church and was an active participant in the Fredericton Water Lilies ladies swimming group. Theda was a retired Registered Nurse having graduated from the Chipman Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, St. Stephen, N.B. and for a time nursed at the Montreal Childrens Hospital. Before she retired she was a Doctor’s Nurse with Dr. Ross Wright and Dr. Joseph Harrison. Theda is survived by two daughters, Anne I. Lively of Fredericton and Jane E. Higle (Dr. David) of Sussex; one son, Dr. Robert “Bob” J. Lively (Dr. Sue Anne) of Yukon, Oklahoma; granddaughter Carolyn A. Higle of Sussex; grandson Raymond P. “Pat” Lively of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; a brother, Wayne L. Ingalls (Cheryl) of Moncton, and one sister Lois V. “Posie” Ingersoll (Arthur) of Sussex; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her parents, husband and a brother Carl.
Theda’s request for no visitation will be respected. A service celebrating Theda’s life will be held from the Corbett Avenue Wesleyan Church, 55 Corbett Ave., Fredericton on Monday, August 1, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. John Symonds officiating. Interment in the Olivet Wesleyan Cemetery. For those who wish to make a memorial contribution in Theda’s name may do so by contributing to any charity of your choice.
