Peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Friday, July 29, 2011, of Barbara Ethel "Jean" Haslam of Maple Ave., Sherwood, and formerly of Springfield, aged 71 years.
Born in New Argyle on April 10, 1940, daughter of the late Gordon and Bertha (MacFadyen) MacEachern.
Beloved wife of the late John Heber Haslam. Dear mother of Barb (Barry) Strongman, Summerside and Lorna (Rodney) Mann, Kensington. Grandmother of Christine and Catherine Strongman, Megan and Nathan Mann. Sister of Arnold (Meredith), Charles (Sigrid) and Shirley MacEachern.
Predeceased by brothers, Everett and Stewart MacEachern; sister and brother-in-law, Sadie and John Gillespie; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Basil and Olive (Jardine) Haslam; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Frank and Blanche Haslam.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Monday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment in St. Elizabeth's Anglican Church Cemetery, Springfield.
