Stephen Benjamin Dolhanty, 74, of Westmount, formerly of Florence, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2011, at the New Waterford Consolidated Hospital.
Born in Florence, he was the son of the late Stephen B. and Margaret (Ross) Dolhanty.
He is survived by his wife, the former Yvonne (Gouthro); daughters, Susan, Dartmouth; Allison (Adam), Sydney; sons, Paul (Shauna), Curtis (Valerie), both of Sydney; three brothers, Reggie (Rosalie), Florence, Francis ‘Duke’ (Esther), Sydney Mines, Brian, Florence; seven grandchildren, Krista, Leah, Will, Craig, Lindsay, Avery and Olivia.
He was predeceased by a sister, Rosalind.
There will be no visitation for the late Mr. Dolhanty. Funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2011, at 3 p.m. in Holy Rosary Church with Rev. Doug Murphy officiating.
