Harry Charlton
CHARLTON, HARRY - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Harry Allen McLean Charlton of Hoyt, NB on August 01, 2011. Harry was born on February 6, 1946 to the late Allen and Irene (Burton) Charlton. Harry is survived by his wife, of 44 years, Judy (Davenport) Charlton, one loving daughter Jill at home and one son Jody (Terri Humble) of Hoyt. He is also survived by two sisters; Debbie (Charlie) Easton of Wirral and Frances Perkins of Hoyt; three brothers; David (Linda) of Welsford, his brother and best friend, George “Joe” (Barb) of Hoyt and Gary (Shirley) of Enniskillen, his dearly loved grandson Gregory Charlton his mother-in-law Gertrude Davenport and good buddy Ray Doiron, along with several nieces and nephews. Harry is predeceased by his parents, a brother-in-law Dale Perkins and his father-in-law Marcus Davenport. Growing up and working in the Hoyt area, Harry worked in the woods and ran equipment as well as owning and operating his own trucks. He enjoyed people, Harry loved to socialize with his friends and neighbours, enjoyed going to the old time dances and listening to country music. He enjoyed hunting and loved spending time with his grandson Gregory fishing.
Relatives and friends are invited to visitations at Sunbury Funeral Home on Wednesday August 3, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from St. Luke’s Anglican Church on August 4 at 11 am with the Bishop George Lemmon officiating. Interment will follow at Blissville Cemetery in Hoyt.
