We, the family of Peggy Ellsworth would like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you who helped in any way in easing the pain of this most difficult time. To all who sent cards, telephoned, visited, sent food and monetary gifts, we thank you. To Gert and Melva we will be forever thankful, you stayed with us till the end and made things more bearable. To Suzie Royal and Pauline Hill thank you for all you did for Ma. You guys gave her comfort and hope and were true friends. To Cindy Tiller and Faye MacDougall of the Cape Breton Regional Library, we thank you for giving Jeanne the “leave of absence†from work to care for her mother during her initial treatment. To Dominion Hawks Club, thank you so much for your Honor Guard, for the service and your compassion for our father we will never forget. To C.B. Cancer Unit nursing staff, Dr. MacCormack, Pahill, Ahmed and Azer, we thank you, 2nd floor nursing station of the New Waterford Consolidated Hospital, you are such “ANGELSâ€. You treated Mom with such dignity and respect, we are so grateful, she just loved you guys. To Kelly Blunden of the V.O.N. we also then you for your caring. To Dr. Stephen Farrell and Elaine Arseneau, thanks as well. To Father Andrew Gillies and the choir of St. Eugene’s Parish, the service for Ma was just beautiful. Thank you to Deacon Leo Penney for his hospital visits, the Eucharistic Minister good friend Violet Daigle and the C.W.L. for the luncheon.To Joe Curry and staff of Curry’s Funeral Home, we are grateful for the compassion, professionalism and respect you gave us during this time. To Marg for the beautiful and very appropriate readings during the service, she would have loved it.To Danny Royal for singing and playing guitar for her on Sunday nights after treatment. She loved your singing. To each and everyone of you we will be forever grateful, at times like these, we realize just what wonderful family, friends and neighbors we truly have.
