1930 - 2011

Glen Morgan Gardiner of Kamloops, B.C. passed away Saturday evening July 30, 2011 in the loving arms of his wife Margaret, at the age of 81 after a long and brave battle with cancer.

He will be lovingly remembered by his sons George, Ken, Steven, David and Glen Jr. and daughters Elaine and Athenia and their loving and supportive spouses and partners and his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived and will be lovingly remembered by his brothers and sisters, Eleanor, Margaret, Helen, Gwen, Carol, Joe and Alvin and their spouses.

He was predeceased by his mother Ada, father George, sisters Olive and Joanne and brothers Bill, Ronald and Earl all of North Bay, Ontario and David of Kamloops.

Glen worked for many years as a plumber for Saro's Plumbing & Heating, Kamloops before moving to the Yukon where he and his wife Margaret lived for 10 years before retiring back to Kamloops in 1996. Glen lived a happy and adventurous life camping, fishing and hunting with his loving wife Margaret always at his side.

By request, there will not be a service.

Donations would be greatly appreciated to the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Memorial Hospice Home, 72 Whiteshield Crescent S., Kamloops, B.C. V2E 2S9 in lieu of flowers.

A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
